Дружину Захара і мати Максима Раду довірили зображувати 53-річній ірландській акторці та моделі Елісон Дуді («Індіана Джонс і останній хрестовий похід»), яка вразила на екрані не стільки своєю грою, скільки кількістю ботоксу в обличчі, що не дуже в'язалося з образом мешканки стародавніх Карпат. Все, що їм було потрібно - відправити орду в гори. Певне «провисання» картини рятує видовищний прорив дамби і фінальна дуель Максима і хана Бурундая, виконана філігранно. Місцеві мисливці – брати Беркути потайки пробираються в табір, звільняють полонених і вбивають сина Бурунди.

Разом з Ахтемом Сеітаблаєвим в якості співрежисера над стрічкою працює Джон Вінн. Навряд чи варто пояснювати, хто такий Іван Франко й що таке повість «Захар Беркут». Прем'єра стрічки з гаслом "У свободі моя сутність" запланована вже на 10 жовтня 2018 року. ua у Києві. Над проектом працювали до 40 майстрів, які досліджували історичний одяг та створювали костюми, їм допомагали ремісники з цілої України.
